Money? No friggin' way!

You may have remembered that we have failed to raise the required funds for a high-budget film. Bosh and tosh! Money is for wimps! We are the revolution! We are the... Wait, I'm not here to make political comments.

Anyway, filming has been underway for quite a while now. It's been fun I guess, and now all we need is one perfect cloudy day to finish stuff up. We've been quiet about this, predominantly because I'm very lazy.

Interestingly, Blender 2.64 couldn't have come at a better time. With all new VFX tools, and some other enhancements, it's a marvelous age to be a computer graphics enthusiast. Check this page for the all important information:http://cgcookie.com...

Furthermore, Tears of Steel has been released. Gotta watch it y'all! Watch it here!

We Have Died? Oh no. Not at all.

This is Central, your commanding AI speaking.

Due to the incompetence of our head of project, his so-called 'Indiegogo' project has flopped on its back, flipped down the sewer, and has been sent to the Tasman sea dead. It is a surprise that it has actually ended up in only three separate pieces, instead of the usual mist of flesh that usually results from this sort of thing.

However, Modules is not dead. In fact, it will never be dead. As long as I exist, and there are electricity running through my sensor cords, Modules cannot die. Either in three weeks or 5 months, production will begin.

This is a courageous retreat, not a sign of surrender. The invasion has already started, and we will not step back.

Our Plans

Hello people. I decided today that it's time that we made our plans public so that you fellas know what we're actually up to.

For the next few weeks, we're going to be concentrating on pre-production, fundraising for the film, and then production. The VFX artist is also going to be producing CG assets for the film now, so we can get in to the actual animation and FX work later. This will probably continue until September, October.

Then, because we all have lives and other commitments, we'll be putting the film into freeze until the beginning of December.

After that, I'm in serious post-production for about two months.

Then we'll release the film for free on the the internet. Shortly after, we'll get a higher quality version and some exclusive content on a DVD, because we're not rich at all.

I hope you'll come back to support us next week, when we start fund raising on Indiegogo.

Concept Artist On the Go

Today, we found the best artist around (i.e. me) and the worst artist around (i.e. me), and we (i.e. me) got around to doing some concept art. Despite that late start on that, we hope to be able to achieve a lot. By next week, we hope to have finished storyboarding, although that might not be possible.
We'll be posting anything new we get, so make sure you come back!
